PDO Thread Lift Training FAQs

  • I’m new to PDO threads. Where do I start?

There is a learning curve when it comes to PDO threads, so attending a hands-on training under the guidance of an experienced trainer is a must. For those with little to no cannula experience, we recommend starting with the Foundational course, which will cover the fundamentals: anatomical considerations for thread lifts, how to assess and select candidates, numbing techniques, procedure protocols, how to design vectors for the mid to lower face and neck, and insertion techniques.

  • I am a Physician/Physician’s Associate/Nurse. Can I sign up?

Our trainings are open to medical practitioners with an active medical license in the United States. We advise checking with your state’s medical advisory board as the scope of practice can vary from state to state.

  • How do I sign up for hands-on training?

Please submit an inquiry form for the training you want to attend. This inquiry will be forwarded to our team, who will reach out to you with more details and a consent form needed to complete your registration.

  • Where do the trainings take place?

We currently offer hands-on trainings in 12 states across the United States, which take place at the respective trainer’s clinic.

  • Are the trainings private or done in a small group?

Hands-on trainings are done in a small group setting. For Foundational and Intermediate, there is a maximum of 4 hands-on trainees and 2 observers. For Advanced, there is maximum of 2 hands-on trainees and 2 observers. If you are interested in a private hands-on training, please fill out  form and a MINT Lift® Representative can give you more information.

  • How much does a hands-on training session cost?

The cost is dependent on the level you want to attend. Please fill out an inquiry for pricing.

  • Do I need to train with MINT™ before I can use your threads?

While it’s not required, we strongly recommend enrolling in a MINT™ training course to get a better understanding of the product portfolio. Our patented press molded threads are unique, so getting a better understanding of their design and applications will be helpful, even to experienced thread users.

  • What are my options if there are no trainings near me or at a time that fits my schedule?

If you submit an inquiry form, we can connect you with a MINT Lift® Representative, who can keep you updated on upcoming opportunities. You can also sign up for our newsletter, where we send out training and event information regularly.
